| Also something that I wont regret planting! Something fragrant would be nice too, but not a must. I am trying to disguise the view of a wood fence that is right out my kitchen window. The area is heavy shade on west side of house. It probably gets not more than 1 hour of sun a day. I am adding some trellis to the fence for the plant to grow up as well. |

| Someone on this board told me that chocolate vine (akebia) can handle shade. |
