Star Jasmine or Cofederate Jasmine

I just got one of these and can't seem to find too much about them. I grew them when I lived in CA though. Can they go in the ground here? (Spring Hill area, just south of Nashville) - will they come back each year?

Thanks to anyone that can offer advice:)

Confederate jasmine is basically hardy here, but it may not come back after a really hard winter. But I believe more than one type of jasmine gets called "star" jasmine, so you need to make sure it's Confederate jasmine -- Trachelospermum jasminoides.

Thanks amazindirt. I'll nail down the type, and get it in the ground soon.
