tiny green worms on tomatoes

Help. While admiring my garden this am, I found a tiny green worm ( yes I was looking very close) and I can't find anything about them online. Is this a baby soon to become a monster or can it be friendly?

A picture would help, but do they have a horn on one end? If so they may be tomato horn worms and will strip a plant in no time as they grow at an exponential rate.
