Maybe if you keep them moist. Typically they wilt pretty badly after digging, so the shock might get them. But if you baby them and whoever takes them puts them out promptly, they may bounce back.

Thank you (april h o)! A neighbor's mother that has just put in a nature trail in the country will take the plants. Let her know they might not bloom this year, just depends. So glad I do not have to just ditch them.
