Well, I'm down the road a little (all the way in Knoxville), so I don't know that I can tell you much. But, it looks promising for a couple of reasons. Number one is that it's close to McMinnville which is known as the "Nursery Capital of the World". So, botanically speaking, it should be a great place to live. It ought to be easy to have a green thumb living there. Number two is that it's pretty close to Chattanooga (big city convenience) but far enough away to be peaceful, rural, etc. With only about 300 households in the entire city, you should be able to get to know just about everyone around there. (-:

I'm kind of curious as to how Palmer became your destination. I'm not that far away, but I had never heard of it before.
