| I have never had cannas. At the swap I got some Yellow King Humbert :) I'm very excited about them!
The question is, do I need to lift these in the fall? I know you have to lift the tropical cannas with the variegated foilage, but I also know there are many other cannas that people just leave in. How do you know? Googling reports hardiness of 7 on some sites, 8 on others. What do you guys do? Does it depend on the particular canna? Calla lilies are another thing that aren't supposed to be hardy here...but I had a large grouping of them at the other house for ten years that I never touched. |

| I have the Yellow King Humbert, never dug up, no problems here. I am about as far into west tn. as you can go without jumping in the river. Norm |
