Very colorful!

How many different types of brugs do you grow/overwinter?

Everything is just beautiful and you are right--the smell of blooming brugs is heavenly.
Now, here come the questions: mine only bloom later in the summer. How do you get yours to bloom early? Is it the particular variety you've chosen?
Which types have you found to be especially cold hardy here? I'm assuming you plant them in a protected spot.

I was looking for that. I have a PDF somewhere I need to put online.

By taking in good sized root balls and good sturdy, already branched trunks, I get blooms much sooner and get a much longer blooming season. From "stick" to something like I posted above can be one to three years depending on the cultivar and the conditions you plant it in.

Oh, and how much you feed them.

Okay - I have to figure out how to get my name on a stick at the fall swap. I came home with two devils trumpets - but I LOVE the picture in the link Brandon gave with you standing UNDER one of those Angel Trumpets. That is gorgeous!! But - to be fair - the Devils Trumpets sure are happy here...I can't wait to see them bloom.

What are the purple blooms on the last picture?
