| What could I plant that would bloom during the winter?? I know Violets and Crepe Myrtle will but I was looking for something along the lines of Holly? I've searched and found different type but none seem to mention if hardy in Z6....
Many lists other than Holly are appreciated!

| CrApe myrtles don't bloom in winter months. They are deciduous and go completely dormant during winter months. There are evergreen species for tropical climates, but they won't survive here. Some plants to consider: |

| Don't forget about camellias! Some recommended varieties for TN: Camellia japonica 'Greensboro Red' Also, there are several types of daphne, including winter daphne and February daphne, and winter jasmine. |

| Punky, where are you in TN? The only areas that are still zone 6 are the upper plateau and the mountains. This is important, as the difference between winter blooming plants available to you increases considerably with zone 7. |
