Neh...mine, for some odd reason (lol) are loving this weather, even though I transplanted them this past weekend. =) Anyways, tonight....44 is worrying me a bit. I have a tray set aside for the swap with plants in it already. I want to camp there Friday, but have yet been unable to find a sleeping bag & tent to borrow. Anyways, see you there!

Steve check with some of the local college and universities; they always have rentals.
Bass Pro, REI or Academy Sports may even have some loaners or rentals if you act interested in buying some new ones later.
The Park may have some too!

I'll talk to Tim tomorrow because he may have a bag and tent that he would loan you. If so, you could pick 'em up at his house. They live right behind HHSP.

Ok, thanks. I'll probably start with asking a few friends here at work. If they don't have any gear, I will take your advice.

I've potted up a few things, but I think we are mainly going to bring bare root daylilies and iris.

That's what I have the most of - daylillies and iris - also lamb's ear. What's the best way to prepare them for the swap if they're not potted?

dlhl, dig your daylilies and iris a day or two before the swap. Wash the soil off the roots and cut the foliage back by half. Keep them in the shade until day of swap. Bag 'em up and bring 'em!

What is Buckeye? Some of the plants being brought up here & the "What I want to take home from the MTPS swap" thread sound lovely. I would love a slightly exotic looking colorful flower that grows well with vegetables & fruits. =)
