| Mark your calendars now! This is a great event for the whole family. Lots of music, kids' activities, a chance to see the gardens, vendors and best of all, lots of workshops. This is the place to find out what grows best in Knoxville, how to plan or redo a garden and get any gardening questions answered.
This year they even have a tree-climbing event! The Gardens are located on Neyland Drive between Neyland Stadium and the Vet College. Buy your tickets in advance and save $1 over the price at the door. |

| Thanks Laura, I've been meaning to check to see if the workshops were posted yet, but keep forgetting. If there's anyone out there that lives withing driving distance of this event and hasn't gone, you are really missing an excellent opportunity! There are some very very knowledgeable people giving some of these lectures. In some cases, you can get a CliffsNotes version of a semester worth of information in just an hour. Be sure to come by the Iris Society's booth and say hi while you stock up on some iris rhizomes. I'll be there Saturday morning. |

| Darn, are they charging admission again this year? This is the first year I'll actually have to pay to get in! |
|
| $5 in advance, $6 at the door. All funds go to the gardens. Think of it as buying food for the Koi you donated;) |

| Well, that rate is okay. I still remember the first year I was volunteering, and I was kinda horrified at the $10 ticket price! But it was so nice last year, because a local business (bank? I forget!) sponsored all the ticket fees! |
