Annuals

All the 23 plants I traded for at the MTPS are doing wonderful! But the annuals I purchased this year are for some reason not doing well. They bushed out, then started to die after two or three blooms. Anyone else having the same problem? Wanda

What are they? You didn't give enough information.

RE: Annuals

Most likey reasons are wrong light conditions, wrong water conditions or poor soil.

Without some ideas on what you planted where it will be near impossible to offer more help. Did all the annuals come from the same grower? Some annuals need to be deadheaded like perrenials to thrive.

RE: Annuals

Difficult for me to believe they are my marigolds planted in several beds and the petunias planted in ground or hanging baskets. Just one bed of the petunias are doing great, but all the rest look terrible. Possibly the soil is lacking something. I deadhead on a daily bases and both were purchases at three locations, two nursery and the other Lowe's. I was thinking maybe something in the mulch, have bought 10 bags three separate times.
Thanks for the input!
