Oh I do love a bargain! I was at Lowe's in Franklin, KY last weekend and as always was checking out their sale racks in back of garden center. A manager came by and said, If you want to fill one of these 3 tier garden racks with these marked down plants, I'll let you have them for $25. Thank God I was in Bill's truck! I filled up that baby and befor the discount (retail not sale price) I got $400 worth of plants for $25! I would have gone back for a second load if I had not remembered that I actually have to plant all this stuff. LOL!

Wow, that would have definitely been hard to pass up Kathy! What all did you get?

3 goldmound spriea, a Mondo pine, a birdnest spruce,Summer wine ninebark, Mariesii hydrangea, bunches of red oriental lilies, several dallias, some mixed containers of pinks, and a lot of annuals that I bought for their awsome containers, probably something i've forgotten. It was great! I'm going to propagate the spirea, hydranga and ninebark.

What a score! :) Very cool, especially to get all those nice shrubs! I never seem to luck out on those good clearance rack deals at Lowe's.
