Let me know if you still want to come see it. I was mistaken about the species; it is, in fact, fragrans and has done well for me here in Knoxville. I have it planted in a semi-protected pocket between a tall bamboo hedge and my house. Slight tip dieback is not uncommon some years, but it always comes back strong and is now 5 ft tall. Don't let the zone warming deniers convince you otherwise!
