We have had lots of conversations about "semi-hardy" and hardy palms. There's way too much info to repeat in this thread. Some of our previous threads have been completely filled and new threads had to be started because of all the conversation. The best way to find this info is to use the search function at the bottom of the page and type in 'palm'. You could also try 'hardy palm'. I will attach the results of one such search in a link below.

I have a needle palm, a sabal lousiana and a sabal birmingham that have been in the ground several years.

I would stick with these. Windmill palms croak. IMO.
