cheap and interesting plants coming to Knoxville

In case anyone is interested --

A seller, I think from Florida, is bringing a truck load of interesting plants to the Green Acres flea market this Saturday. The inventory includes Pindo, Washingtonia, and Chamaerops palms as well as many other plants. I don't know all the prices, but the European fans are $6 for a three gallon plant, and some of the others are $14 for a SEVEN gallon plant. Too good to pass up!

I have no association with this seller, except that I am changing my travel plans to be sure I get some of those palms. :-) For more info, check the Knoxville Craigslist listings under farm and garden.

hmmm, there must be more somewhere because Ione had more info than was in that article. Oh well, it probably doesn't matter. I need more plants like I need a hole in the head.

I forgot to follow up on this --

I ended up getting 3 European fan palms (3 gall each), 1 'cardboard' palm (Zamia furfuracea, 3 gall), 3 small patchouli plants, and one small stevia. The 3 galls were $6 each, and the smaller plants were $1 each. Ya can't beat that with a stick! :-)
