Try the Name That Plant! forum. I bet you'd get an answer within minutes. It doesn't look hard to ID, but I'm not sure what it is without a little research.

Anyone can ID this one from Nashville, TN.
It has purple shoot that comes up from these leaves, and the small leaves look like mint leaves

Here is another one that I have rooting in water.
This, too, is from Nashville, TN. They did not know the name of it.

It turns a dark purple, almost black, with rather large leaves.

This second one kinda reminds me of a begonia, but I am having a really hard time finding something that looks just the same.

The first one is something from the mint family perhaps, rub a leaf softly between your fingers and see if there is a minty smell.

The second is a begonia. Angel wing? If it a mint plant it should have a square stem.

Begonia.? Really!

I would never have thought that. BTW, this plant's leaves are a deep, dark purple. I started it in water and now the leaves are green.
