I'm in Jackson and would love to find someone who is interested in sustainable vegetable gardening. If you help me in my garden, I'll help you in yours.
We can also save money by splitting costs for seeds, transplants, soil and equipment. Currently, I have a pretty unsuccessful container garden of green beans, sweet potatoes, herbs, and roma tomatoes on my back patio. The Romas and sweet potatotes seem to be doing well. | Mathew, Did you ever find anyone? I needed help starting my garden a few years ago out at my farm. I asked a neighbor and he was very happy to help out. He disked the area and then plowed it. I had to convince him to let me pay him. Local farmers are often very willing to help someone get started. |
