Sorry I didn't mention this a week ago. I just remembered to post this.

Tomorrow, 9 October 2010, is the UT Arboretum Fall Plant Sale. It will be from 9am to 3pm. This is THE BEST time to buy and plant your trees, shrubs, and hardy perennials.

The UT Arboretum Society’s Fall Plant Sale: Saturday, October 9 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., at the UT Arboretum, 901 South Illinois Avenue, in Oak Ridge. Beaver Creek Nursery, East Fork Nursery and Sunlight Gardens, and Arboretum Society members and friends will be offering quality plants especially suited for planting in the fall. All proceeds will benefit the UT Arboretum Society, which supports the educational and research mission of the UT Forest Resources AgResearch and Education Center and Arboretum. The sale was awesome. I came home with plants I had been looking for, for quite a while. Plants I had passed up at the nursery because they were around $25 were only $5!
