Angel Trumpet Plants From MTPS

Joe: I don't know why you said these are hard to root. All 4 I got from you are doing great!!! I potted them into soil today. 3 of the 4 had roots an inch or so long growing out of them already! =) The other (along with the 3 also) has 20-30 root nodes on it. Wicked excited to see these get going. Thanks again! Anyone else have great luck with these cuttings?

Well - apparently I have been bitten by the brugs bug...between what I picked out and what my little girl picked out - we ended up with 15 of Joe's brugs that are currently calling Chattanooga home. :D

And I am happy to report - they are all doing very well - from the large one in the pot to the very wee small cuttings that are just starting to show root growth. Thanks Joe!!

Check out the roots one of my Angel Trumpet cuttings had on them about 2 days ago before I planted them! This is only from them sitting in water & all 4 are like this! =)

Most of them are crazy easy to root. The variegated ones are the ones that can be tricksy. Don't let them get too wet once you've potted them up. Nor bone dry either.

Joe--My Species I swapped with you last fall bloomed great this year! It actually still has blooms on it.

Guess some of you know the temps in Columbia to be 30* Thursday night. I am bringing in plants and cutting my Brug sticks.

Hope to see all in Spring!
