| Welcome to Tennessee, Floyd! Things are kinda quite in this forum this time of year, but will pick up again in the spring. I wasn't sure where Center Hill Lake was until I googled it, but I see you are just a little east of the Nashville area. I'm not familiar with the specifics in that area, but, here in Knoxville, we can grow just about any kind of vegetable except maybe for something like artichokes (many of which need a longer growing season and a warmer climate). The one vegetable I haven't had much luck with is the tomato, but it's just that they don't like me. Many other people seem to be able to grow them just fine. Below is a link to a UT Ag.
