| The illustrator for my knitting book just smashed her hand in the door of a Glasgow pub and can't complete the work. I need someone who is very familiar with knitting and has a good ability to imagine what something will wind up looking like based on the directions.
The bad part is the deadline is very very soon. But still it's a major publisher and you'll get credit and some $. If you work well under pressure, this gig's for you. Barb |

| Just a suggestion...The Rhode Island School of Design has an Illustration Department and a wealth of talent. Maybe you could make your pitch there? Good luck! |
Here is a link that might be useful: Rhode Island School of Design (RISD)

| Thanks. Yeah, RISD is a good suggestion. This one is from Cornell. I was trying to do this as quickly as possible but speed doesn't appear possible where this book is concerned. |

| Barb, I have a friend who is an artist and a knitter. If you're still in need of an illustrator I can contact her to see if she's interested and/or even qualified for this project. Gina |

| Sheesh, they rejected my follow-up meessage, too. Nice function. Keep that but lose the email part. Don't post the email for the world to see, I'll find yours somehow. |
|
| Hey folks I just found out that you have to logon to get the email part to show up. Good luck Barb! Worth |
