I going to be selling heirloom tomato's at the spring plant and flower show here in South Carolina. I would like to show pictures of the various tomatoes but I don't have close ups of all the varieties ( approx. 60).Is there some one out there That might be interested in working something out with me. Or maybe have some suggestion? Rodger

OK If you aren't doing any on line posting for commercial reasons you can grab pictures off the internet. It is always nice to ask permission but unless someone specifically states in their site "dont do this" you can (again if not for commercial reasons). I would suggest going to Craig's site and looking through those. Ask Craig, nctomatoman, first (Im not posting his email here - just find one of his posts and email him that way). Here is the area you'd want to go to: Now, in case you dont know here is how to get/save a picture from a webpage. Once you see the picture, place the mouse cursor over the picture. Click your right hand mouse button. A window will come up say something like "save image" (depending on your browser). Save that image and others you want to sme directory you can access it later. Thats it. Here are some pictures you may use from my site: * old commercial scans I just have one request. You spell them "tomato" :)

Thanks for the post. I have contacted Tomato fest and tomato supply to see if they would sell or let me use copies of their pictures. No replies yet. It's not crucial that I have pictures but," a picture paints a thousand words" and I thought it would be nice to show a picture of the tomato's that I will have. Sorry for the spelling. I feel stupid now. I guess some say tomato I say tomatoe. Rodger

Rodger, How about listing those varieties you would like photo's for so that we can either post them here or email them to you. I have photo's available of most of the 2 or 300 hundred varieties I've grown and I'm sure many others will have them as well. Cheers. Rosco

Guess I can make a start here Rodger but bouncing between this site and the photo server can be a real pain. If you email me your normal email address it would make things easier. What I'm saying is that photo's uploaded to the Garden Web have to come from an external server rather than your own computer and as a result have to be uploaded first. You can still copy them and in my case have my permission gladly but it would be easier to send them directly. Just the same I'll post a few now and you can decide. Hopefully others might post some more. Lumpy Red German Red Strawberry Paul Robeson
