If any of you are fans of good, and I do mean GOOD male quartet music and have decent access to the Kansas City area, try to check out the Black River Quartet. They sing in several areas around KC. I do believe they rival groups like The Statlers and The Oak Ridge Boys. Stormy Bennett is the leader of the group, then they have Paul Asher, one of the best tenors I've ever heard. The bass is very talented and very funny. Feb. 28, they'll be in Tonganoxie, KS and April 22, they'll be in Louisburg, KS. They are obviously mostly country and Gospel, but I asked Stormy last night when he was in Tonganoxie (yes I'll drive 2 and a half hours to see them) about doing some Do-Wop and he is putting some together. Great show, if you get a chance, check 'em out.
