Getting Ready

Today...I pulled out all my tomato seeds..put them envelopes and small bottles on the coffee table in alphabetical order..now to decide what I can plant this year. I am trying to do less rather than more. Last year was such a bust I don't have even one seed1! So my seeds are from 2005 to 2008..I am also trying to give my gardens a break from Tomato..

Aunt Ruby's Green
Black Plum (may not plant this year)
Cherokee Chocolate
Gallo
Great Divide (may not plant)
Heidi
Italian Pear
Kelloggs Breakfast
Marizol Purple
Opalka
Orange Russian
Pink Ping Pong
Red Brandywine
Sudduth's Brandywine
San Marzano
Maybe Nepal
and what I think is Dr. Carolyn's
also someone brought me some seeds
from a tomato they ate in California..
(so I will start it for them and maybe keep one)
Ooops forgot White Queen (although I usually only get one or two from a plant)..
Now that this is done, I hope to start the seeds next week..trying to put off the start date as I usually do it too early and end up with huge plants...
cheers to all with earth on their hands! Martha Zucchini
