I guess you could say I have that "Mona Lisa" type stare ... but this is one of 5 harvests I had this summer ~ Tom

Thanks - I was pretty stoked because it was my first year with "heirlooms" ! Like I said it was on of 5 ! Pumped for 2006 ~ Tom

Ahhaaaa! The joys and rewards of gardening. Looks great man.

Ultimately, that is what it is all about, however, I really enjoy the anticipation of it all, planting the seeds, nurturing the seedlings, watching them grow and develop to begin producing. Sometimes the havest seems kinda anticlimatic to me, then a little sadness when jack frost comes to nip them and spell the end for them.

Drought and Mr. Frost def. add sadness to me ... But growing new varieties , adding more space to my garden, and using only my compost ? Adds to my tomatoe madness ! Thanks Bill ~ Tom

ps. my real payoff is when you use them! Oh man do I miss the fresh flavor ! These store bought dont cut it ~
