Duane mine was a 1971 Dodge Challenger with a 340 4BBL and slapstick.
It would run 165 and do a quarter in 13 seconds.

All of the little rich girls in town had those Cameos and Trans Am’s.
Their daddy’s should have bought them faster cars I caught them any way. (LOL)

A Red, 1974 Volkswagon 412 wagon...picked it up in England,we drove around Europe in it for 6 months. Camping, and sometimes actully had to sleep in it. We shipped it home and it was a great car for over ten years until the heater died..it was too complicated and expensive to repair so we sold to a young couple, it was stollen when they parked it in Buffalo and went to dinner. I think the car was stolen because it was full of ski equiptment. If they still made that car, I would buy it again. Martha/zucchii

A 1963 Chrysler. I paid 300 dollars for it. Squarish steering wheel and pushbutton transmission, 361 cubic inch V8. It was a fast, comfortable, well made car,you couldn't wear it out it seemed. It is still around today in Quebec apparently and I wish I still owned it.

A Toyota Landcruiser pickup, the modern version, 1995. Thing would climb trees.

A 1998 VW Passat (now on to someone else) - currently my 2002 Toyota Tacoma truck. The bed has seen lots of MetroMix 360 and tomato/pepper seedlings hauled in its short life!

Tough call, I suppose the 1985 Toyota 4WD short bed pickup. That thing had custom everything, fire engine red, water proof interior and could fly. I really loved that truck.

But, a close second was a 1970 Pontiac Firebird Formula, heavily warmed over with no suspension or interior. It was light, fast and nasty. Just a drivers seat and harness. Not the best date vehicle, though I could load the backw/ blankets and it served fine.

We purchased a 1979 Chevy Chevette (NOT my favorite car) in 1980. It was a program car with 14,000 miles. By a year later, it had 31,000 miles and was totally worn out. I traded it for a 1978 Dodge Aspen 2 door sedan with 50,000 miles. It had a 318 V-8 and was 5 times the car that the Shovette was. I have no idea how many miles it had when I traded it. The odometer quit at 148,000 and I drove it 2 more years. Most anything would have been my favorite after a year with a Shovette.
