Go Rice Owls!!

For all you college football fans out there, be sure to tune in to ESPN2 on Friday, Dec 22, at 7pm CST to watch the Rice University Owls take on the Troy University (AL) Trojans in the New Orleans Bowl in Rice's first bowl appearance since 1961.

With any luck you will get to see one of Jarett Dillard's phenomenal receptions (he should have won the 2007 Biletnikoff Award for top college receiver over the guy from GA Tech, but that's history and there's always next year). It promises to be a great game.

We're both Rice grads and will be in attendance at the game. Shelly is really psyched up about it. Roy is playing along (but rolls his eyes behind her back). :)

To answer Mickey's question of where has everyone gone, we've just been way busy with work and other stuff and this is the first time I've bopped into the forum in eons. The maters were pretty pitiful this year with the crazy weather. But, in just a few more weeks, we'll be starting the 2007 babies. My, how time flies!

A Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukkah to everyone.
