HAVE: cheese pepper

So I got these seeds from a local farmer(joe) here in n.j. I was told they date back to his grandfather and "Joe" is well in his 70s. He only called them cheese peppers so I don't know their real name.they look like a small smashed bell pepper that all the italian folk around here cherish for pickling. In fact "joe" only dedicates a small part of his field to them, and only gives them to close friends and if you try to buy some from him,he'll quickly tell you "not fer sale". So I feel very lucky to have gotten ahold of these seeds and am willing to trade and let some people tell me what they think and maybe their true name and origin. I'm willing to trade for anything interesting especially the heirlooms. I also have a great pickling recipe for these peppers too if anyone is interested. T/c...craig

Sounds like the italian cherry peppers. I'm a newbie here, hope to be able to find something to trade for a few of those beauties.
