I am am an amateur tomato grower. I plant in large pots in my back yard, in full sun, just for fun and to enjoy something that I grow myself. The plants are planted in Miracle Grow soil and I fertilize every other week. Usually, I plant Celebrity's that I buy at Lowe's or Walmart. This year, I planted Celebrity's and as an experiment I planted 1 Park's Whopper. The plants are in large pots about 2 feet apart. The Celebrity's have produced a lot of great tomatoes, but the Park's Whopper has produced only 1 (one !) tomato. The Park's Whopper plant is 5 feet tall and real healthy looking. Right now there are no blooms and no baby tomatoes on the Park's Whopper plant. Does any one have any ideas? Thanks.
