Tomato Cage Germination Tunnel

This is a set of photos showing what you can do with unused tomato cages.

I needed a sturdy support for a clear vinyl cover, looked around and saw a stack of my tomato cages. Oooh, perfect! I used two on their sides, points shoved into each other. The vinyl is draped over them. Works like a charm and took only a few moments to make.

I can rarely get Hubs to come out into the garden, but did get him to take most of the photos--you get to see me in my weird winter hat.

Just kidding! Great idea and great webpage though! I love the hat--my own looks like a jester's cap...

I've seen those jester hats--adorable! I think that if I wore one the cats are likely to jump up and try to ring my bells ;-)
