Harvest begins

Four of our six plants have produced ripe or near-ripe fruits.

Not pictured here are the two Green Grapes, which have been eaten. These are two Champion, one Gregori's Altai (I forgot that they don't come off easily), and a handful of Sungolds.

The plants continue to go nuts. We just got some rain and a cool front, so I'm hoping they'll have some more time to set fruit before the heat and disease start to catch up with them.

Wow, that's a tomato jungle! I'm in Houston, too, and am glad we got that cool spell. Maybe if we're lucky we'll get another one and set more tomatoes.
