The warm temperatures have been great for the tomato plants*, but they've also been great for pests.
This is looking to be a year of early harvest and early end-of-harvest. Typically, our first fruit are ripening about now, but we got our first ripe fruits a week ago. The bugs are similarly ahead of schedule. *Well, not so good for the Brandyine types, which really want it cooler. |

| I can't believe there isn't some kind of control for these buggers. Short of reaching in and smooshing them... I tried spraying with garlic-pepper spray but that didn't do much. |
