| I am a first time gardener and planted 3 Sweet Baby Girl cherry tomatoes, 3 Golden Gem Hybrid cherry tomatoes, and 2 Roma tomatoes in a raised garden bed. I am in Chicago area and planted the seedlings about 3 weeks ago, so the plants don't have fruit yet. They all seemed to be growing well. But I noticed today that all of the cherry tomato plants have leaves that do not look healthy. They have brownish/black spots on them and some of those leaves have started to curl a bit. It doesn't appear that it is affecting particular leaves, such as the oldest or newest. It seems to be random. Looking online, I suspect that this is Spotted Wilt Virus. Is it? Should I pull all the cherry tomatoes to give the Roma tomatoes a chance? Thank you! |
