HI Fred,
I like your idea, which I read about on the main forum. My only concern is whether it would be strong enough to support the weight of a fully-laden tomato vine. Mine regularly get to 8ft and a big hardwood stake is needed to support all the fruits and branches :)

BTW: Would you be what is affectionately know as a Down Easter? I know a lot of great boats are built in your State.

Hello Fred,
I like your bucket. Is it just a regular, tall plastic utility bucket like you'd get from home depot? I'd like to try some tomatoes on my sunny driveway next summer. Will one tomatoe plant thrive in the bucket and produce well? What do you put in the bucket for dirt?
Want some nice tomatoes next year.
