RE: My Tomato Mystery Continues !

thats the funny thing about it - NONE ! I bought the tomato @ a farmers market in Upstate NY last fall - it was labeled "wonderlight" but you can see as I have - that is not the case ! My quest continues ! For right now , I'm going to call it " Toms Large Yellow " for lack of a better name ! ~ Tom

Oh, what a good mystery. Have you trolled through all the online sites and catalogues for pics of possibilities? Your working title is straight to the point. But it looks almost like a white rather than a yellow. It looks really good. Meaty even.

I have looked, and so have some others .... but no positive identification because of seed channel structure....
The insides ARE a yellow/white, but the outside, is shouldered with yellow, with some hues of white towards the bottom (not sure if they are completely ripe when picked but taste ripe straight through!) When you say meaty, I couldnt agree more. We had more last night for dinner - its unreal how few seeds there are for this size.

Hey Grub, I'd be willing to send you some if you want to try em out for yourself! Email me if youre interested ~ Tom

On my profile Grub, is my email if you want to send me your addy....I think it would be easier if I just mailed them to you than having to wait it out ... I already know the procedures to get them to you with no "hassles" ~ Let me know ~ Tom
