I finished uploading all my tomato leaf scans from this year. They start with Abe Lincoln and end with Yellow Plum. The pictures are each thumbnails, you can click on them to open the scan to full size.

RE: Tomato Leaf Scans

Trudi d,

Congrats on a super job on the leaf scans. I was particularly interested in the scanns of the potato leaf varieties since I collect them.

At the present time I probably have the largest collection of potato leaf cultivars in the world with over 700 different ones known to exist and seeds for about 500 of them.

I am constantly on the lookout for new varieties including descriptions, historical information (if known), or breeding pedigrees, etc to add to the potato leaf cultivar data base I maintain and to add to the seed collection I have and refresh on a regular basis. In 2006 I plan to grow out about 70 different varieties of potato leaf cultivars plus another 10 croses to produce new potato leaf varieties

I welcome discussion and anything that has to do with potato leaf tomatoes. I will trade seeds of both old and new varieties only to those persons who will grow them out and inform me of their successes and failures.

I noticed several potato leaf varieties in your leaf scans that are of interrest to me and will be willing to send you seeds of potato leaf varieties not generally available to the public. Some are personal crosses, and some are favorites of mine or interesting genetic mutations or genetic throubacks. The varieties in your leaf scans that I am interested in obtaining seed from are as follows:

Brandy Boy
Chebells Marzano
Marianna's West Virginia
Purple Heirloom

A list of all other potato leaf varieties that you have seed for in your collection would also be appreciated.

I am in the process of writing a book about potato leaf tomatoes and any contribution of seeds, pictures, leaf scans and other information will be acknowledged in the book. congrats again on the superb leaf scans. What kind of a digital camera do you use?

Best regards and keep in touch, Bill Zone 6B sw NM ,only 100 miles from "Old Mexico".

I have some tricks to taking pictures and growing tomatoes but still consider myself honest also.
Was wondering how you got such nice pictures, what kind of lighting, camera, etc.

Brad
