Great shot Grub. Ahhh, looks like summer! I see lots of wasted space though (grass), and a huge trellis right up front that isn't being used. ;-)

Hi Grub, Your garden looks wonderful. BTW, what size containers are you using to plant your tomatoes? Cheers, Angelique

I count about 50-60 plants going by the stakes? Is that right? Nice idyllic garden.

Hi, It's actually a very contrasty pic and, though there are a few trees, the tommys mostly seem to do well. Darkest recesses get the cherries, with front-row seats occupied by the must-grows. There is space to create more beds, as this is a garrden terrace beyond a division in front of which is more grass. But the problem in this bed is that the sheets swinging from the clothesline limit the spread. I filled the empty pots in the pic with Grub's Mystery Green today, driving a stake through the bottom of the pots to anchor them there. Though not ideal, I find that pots that take a full 30ltr (8-9gal) bag of potting mix work just fine. Everything is setting fruit or throwing out flowers now including the Sungold and Matts Wild cherries in the shadiest spot. I will snap a pic when the patch is better lit. Behind the fence to the left are two chickens and behind that a compost patch. I haven't a lot of space, really, but it works fine. I planted three more tomatoes in the front garden. The frangipani in the pot is from a cutting. Every cutting struck. I place them there so we can see them from the dining room. Later, I will move the flowering cutting and replace it with a potted tommy. *winks* Everything is healthy at this stage:)
