Some of my small tomatoe seedlings are curling up?

They look a bit dry.

They do close up at night though.

Normal, although I agree that your soil looks dry in the pic and inconsistent (dry,wet, dry, wet) soil moisture levels can trigger the same response in very young seedlings.

If you are using fluorescents as light source, keep the bulbs to no farther than 2".. I think 1/2" is ideal. This way they will stay straight up and become sturdy rather than curled and leggy.

Is that one curling or are the tips of the cotyledons still caught in the seed coat?
