I built my first SWC. My seedlings were just replanted in said SWC on my patio. Thought I had it all planned out. Patio with screen in South Florida would offer some protection from the worst of the sun and pests. SWC would help with our water problem in this climate. Then I was at a party talking about how this was going to be the year it all works out when someone asks "If the bugs are kept out, how will the plant pollinate?." "UMMM, that's a good question, I don't know" was all I could come up with. I am pretty new to gardening. Please, someone tell me all is not lost. I can't lose my tomatoes to another tomato hornworm infestation. I really want to keep them screened in.
