| I posted a request for help in the Tomato Diseases & Pests Forum, but it appears there isn't much response in that forum. Or it takes a while to get a response. Below is the link to my question with picture. I'm afraid if I don't figure out what to do soon, I will lose my tomatoes for the season. Please help!

Thank you Linda! I checked your answer and did a search for tomato russet mite. I just went to buy product to take care of the problem. Hopefully, I'm not too late.

Well Linda, it appears I did have the dreaded tomato russet mite. Fortunately, it appears it was caught in time for a recovery. Thank you for your help. I followed a homemade insecticide recipe someone had posted on the forum that involved garlic, mineral oil, water & soap and it appears to have worked. I just put my second treatment on this morning to catch any mites I may have missed last week. We'll see how it continues.

az_pamperedchef any chance you could post the recipe here?

Sure I can, Thissisme. 4 tbs chopped garlic 2 tbs mineral oil 2 cups water a few drops of dish soap Soak garlic in oil overnight. Strain oil, add to a spray bottle with water & dish soap. Spray unto plants. Hope it helps!

Thanks az_pamperedchef. It takes a two gallon sprayer though to spray my tomatoes. I think spraying wettable sulfur is a lot cheaper in the kind of volume I need.
