Hi there,

I'm trying to grow my tomato plants from seed for the first time this year. I bought some little plastic trays with lids that contained peat pellets and planted a seed in each one. I had about 2/3 of my seeds germinate and each sprout is now an inch to two inches. I'm thrilled. I now don't know what to do though. I've read and read online and have seen many different opinions. I'm wondering if I need to now repot them in flats. If so, what is the best potting soil to use? And, if I do that, do I tear off the meshing around the pellets? I hope I've done things correctly thus far. Anyone willing to help a very inexperienced, but willing seed gardener? Thanks a lot!

Dee
