| First let me explain my setup. I start seeds inside a dome with the cover on in a warm spot. After I see the first seedling coming up if there are quite a few of them I remove the lid and put them under lights. This is as they are just barely showing for the most part. I notice that the first ones up are usually leggier then the ones that start popping a few days later. The question is this: Are they sensing the lack of light even though the "neck" is just barely showing and the size of a pin head or is it because they were warmer when they germinated? Has anyone else experienced this? |

| I've noticed too. My first few up are a little "floppy" compared to the rest. I start mine almost identical to your method. |
