| I mistakenly posted this on a threat regarding soil for tomatoes. I'm posting again so hopefully it will be read. I planted my sm. tomato plants in a container with potting soil instead of potting mix. I mixed the Miracle Grow potting soil with 1/4 vermiculite, 1/4 finely composted oak leaves from my yard. What are the chances that they will make it? One Husky tomato plant has a blossom which is encouraging. I also planted bell peppers and herbs in the same mixture. (not same pot) I hope this is not grounds for banning me from the Tomato Forum. ( just kidding) Thank you for any help you can give. |

| I already posted an answer on your other post of this question. Hope you don't mind if I refer you to it rather than typing it all again. Dave |
