White/yellow cotyledons leaves, curling

My tomato starts were doing great until a few days ago they wilted due to a missed watering (my bad). They revived quickly, almost within an hour. I put them on the germination heating mat overnight thinking it wouldn't hurt and the next morning the soil was dry again and there was a yellow-whitish color on the cotyledon leaves.

I watered thoroughly again and took off the heating mat but the discoloration has persisted after several days.

Thoughts?

This happened to me when I was first starting to grow from seed some years ago so forgive me if my memory isn't crystal clear. I think it might be too much heat. They should grow out of it assuming you don't continue to cook them. As long as it isn't freezing, you really don't need to add heat now that they have germinated. Otherwise, the seedlings look fine. The first true leaf is coming in nicely, at least on the seedlings I can see.
