 o
Minnie Bussell variety?

I purchased a Minnie Bussell tomato plant last week from a Mennonite-owned nursery. I can't find info online on that variety. Is anyone familiar with it?

Thanks.
Dianne

Below is a link to a message site where the person with a user name of Lagoon says it's a local variety and is big like Mortgage Lifter.

Being a local variety and seeing from my Google search that on the same page there are lots of obits of folks from the same area with the same name, it does look like it's very local, so not much more is probably going to be known unless you go back to the place where you bought the plant and ask.

These are Minnie Bussell tomatoes. They are large, deep-pink heirlooms that can often have rough looking tops but make up for it with amazing flavor. My mother-in-law received her seed from a wonderful lady named Carmie Grinder, who got it from the original Mrs. Minnie Bussell (now both deceased). These plants can be purchased at our family's nursery (look us up on Facebook @ www.facebook.com/MartinsCoutryGreenhouse).
