| I read that none of the tomato plants that you buy have not been genetically modified. Is this true? |
Follow-Up Postings:

| You used a double negative, but I assume you're worried that you may have inadvertently bought a GMO seedling or seeds? Don't worry, the first GE tomato was introduced commercially about 20 years ago and tasted so bad (even for a grocery store tomato!) that it was discontinued. Be more afraid of processed food with corn, corn starch, corn syrup, sugar (unless is says cane sugar) and/or soybean or canola oil. Corn, soybeans, canola, and sugar beets are the most prevalent GMO crops and they are used in *everything*! |
