| Which of these are the best tasting? Sungold Hybrid |

| Taste is subjective, what's good for you might not be good for me and vice versa. Also the same variety can vary in flavor from year to year depending on the type of growing conditions each year. Of the ones you listed and that I have grown I'd rank Sungold and Black from Tula at the top of the list, for different reasons. The Sungold are like tomato candy. Everyone who comes to my house who has tried them picks and eats them in the garden, especially the grandkids. BFT and Brandywine (no need for the pink designation) are excellent, with BFT being more productive for me, and Brandywine was the sweeter of the two. Old German and Big Rainbow are both pretty tomatoes and have good flavor, but are milder than others. Children love yellow pear for it's shape, but it is rather bland in flavor. | Yep you can ask 100 folks and get 100 different replies. Your taste buds are very different from anyone else's and everyone defines good taste differently. Type taste in the forum search bar at the bottom of the page and you can read 100's of different opinions. I can tell you which ones on your list I would not waste space on growing - Yellow Pear, Yellow Coyote, Ace 55, Marglobe, Abe Lincoln, Elfie, Moneymaker, and Delicious. JMO Dave |

| Yes, taste is very subjective, and you will no doubt get a myriad of answers. Having said that, on your list, I have tasted Sungold, Yellow Pear, Rutgers, Marglobe, Big Rainbow, Brandywine, Gold Cherry, and Delicious. Of these, the only ones I find worth mentioning in terms of "best tasting" are Brandywine, Rutgers, and Sungold. |

| I haven't tasted many on your list but I have tasted: Sungold Hybrid I think yellow pear is very boring and bland. Sungold is good in my opinion, but my household and neighbors would tell you there are divine! Do you have kids? If so, plant the sungold for sure...they love them! Rutgers is a flavorful canner type and it is a pretty reliable tomato, lots of people I know grow them every year, and Pink Brandywine is very, very good. I grow it every year. Hope this helps :) |
