I had very bad luck with my tomatoes last year, since the area where I normally grow them is small and rotation was impossible. They developed a desease that caused the plant to die from the bottom up. This year, since my artichokes (shown in the picture) did not survive the winter, I decided to plant the central area of the raised bed with tomatoes. Yesterday I bought (from HD) a celebrity, a big boy, a better boy, a park's whopper, a beefsteak and a big beef plants and transplanted them to the raised bed. On one side of the bed I have texas 1015 onions and on the other I have leaf brocoli.
