tomato leaves, spotty yellow/brown and drying up

My tomato leaves are drying up. They have plenty of water and it's affecting only one variety. I've been hardening them off, could it be from the light? Heat isn't an issue yet. Could it be from my artificial lights? Or could it be because they are getting root bound? I know they are but they have to wait until tomorrow to be transplanted, we have a frost warning tonight. They have been fertilized with diluted fish emulsion and seaweed extact weekly, should I cut back or use more? It's the upper leaves affected, not so mych the lower.
Or is this a disease? What can I do about it?

When mine got root bound last year, the lower leaves were the first to be impacted if I recall correctly, not the newer upper growth.

Looks like wind/sun/frost damage to me. They will grow out of it. If you had high winds and cool temps that could easily do that. I would not worry about it. Plant them and they will grow.

This looks similar to what I am seeing on my tomato plants. (Here is my post about it.) We did have couple of cold nights here in MA. So may be it was cold winds. My plants are outside for last three weeks though. So they are hardened off ..

They are getting transplanted today, hopefully that will cheer them up.

"remain calm, all is well."

Just prune those suckers (pun intended) AND those yellow leaves off and everything will be both hunky AND dory.
