You might have to wait a little longer to find out. I've grown them the last 2 years and this year too. They might look a little plum shaped when forming. Most tomatoes have a little fuzz on them. Do you have a picture?

Black Cherry was bred by Vince Sapp, now deceased, the former husband of Linda Sapp who owns Tomato Growers Supply.

I grew it when Linda first listed it and have grown it most years since and I've never seen a plum shape and never seen any fuzz on the fruits.

I checked my latest SSE Yearbook and no one said plum shaped or fuzz, and below is a link to this variety from Tania's superb website and none there indicate plum or fuzz either.

Sorry, I can not post a picture as I don't have a camera. After looking at them for a few days and reading the comments posted here I am convinced these are not Black Cherry tomatoes. They don't resemble any of the photos I have been able to find, they are decidedly plum shaped and more than a little fuzzy. It is disappointing not to have the Black Cherries but I am curious enough as to what they might be to grow them out anyway.
